Please consider to use the latest msn protocol, MSNP18, so we use MPOP (Multiple Points of Presence) and we will not disconnected to Windows live msn (or any other client) when using xfire Instant Messenger Account, because both clients can connect to the same account at the same time using it!.

it will be a very awesome improvement for xfire users!

you can use this c# based library to do it!

I'm going to have to say no on this on. I personally am not happy about this being available on AIM either (as I see it as a security risk). No support from me on this one.

what are you saying?. Security risks? but are you serious?.
i'm a developer and i can grant you that aren't no more risks than using IM in xfire as now.
And however maybe this function can't interest you but i'm sure that the major part of the users will be very happy

I see it as a security risk as it doesn't even give you a message when this happens. Pidgin at least gives you a message when your AIM account is logged into from another location & you can reply to the message with a 1 to log off the other location. If you do not know that your account has been logged into where the other location potentionally knows your password, then this leaves you open to having your account stolen.

the mpop protocol provides to tell to user that another account logged in another location. So you will see in WL client "anyone logged from other location" and in Xfire "you are logged also in other location"

I personally would like to see this feature as well. Most of the time, I'm using MSN via aMSN on my second desktop computer. But if I'm playing a game that conflicts with Synergy-plus (App that allows me to share a single keyboard/mouse between two computers, without the need to buy extra hardware) being able to use the MSN support in Xfire is great. If Xfire added MPOP support, both it and aMSN could be logged in at the same time, and I could chat with my friends using either comp.
