The Day of SWBF
Hello dudes and dudettes. Looks like we got something pretty exciting coming up. MPCGamers.com has informed us of a great mega-event they want to plan for the community this year. We would like to support this event.
It's called The Day of SWBF.
Mark your calendars. Sunday, November 1st. A 24 hour marathon. The goal is to have a good time and to recapture the old spirit of SWBF. Old vets will be there with plenty of cool activities on the servers throughout the entire day.

Invitation extending hope for cause
Today, over a hundred of the most active Original Star Wars Battlefront Players on Battlefront were invited to join a League of people wanting something more in the Original Star Wars Battlefront. These chosen few have the potential to reunite Star Wars Battlefront in a way unforeseen.

Community statement
Here, at the Original Star Wars Battlefront Community, we feel our existence is necessary to keep the original Star Wars Battlefront game alive.
Why is this Community needed? Mainly, for three reasons:
1) To give an effective means of contacting other current, active SWBFI players
2) To provide a more effective gaming experience
3) To help to save SWBFI from extinction
First off, since there aren't as many players playing SWBFI as there was a few years ago, we need an effective way to contact other players who play the same game. Second, it will enhance the game play. People will be able to set up times to meet up and get help on uploading important files. Lastly, by having this community, we are keeping SWBFI afloat. This we find is the most important thing.
Please keep these things in mind when you join this community. We need your help in making Star Wars Battlefront the game it was meant to be!
