Warcraft anniversary mini-site
15 years of Warcraft and 5 years of World of Warcraft celebration is on a full scale now, with interviews and articles pouring out from every possible corner. Now it's time for something official. Blizzard has opened an official Warcraft Anniversary mini-site.

Currently the site hosts two things: a video interview with Blizzard employees and a Battlecry - place where Horde and Alliance players can upload their pictures to crate an epic mosaic. While a Battlecry page is something to check out, I would like to point you at the video interview. It's really interesting, and even touching sometimes, when Chris Metzen and Rob Bridenbecker talk about the origins of that fantastic questline in Icecrown, where you are desperately trying to help Argent Crusader, who had been corrupted with the Scourge. After hearing their stories, I will definitely look at those quests from slightly different perspective.

The anniversary mini-site is said to host 2 other things soon: written interviews with both Blizz...

5 years of World of Warcraft
This is the moment. This is it. Precisely five years ago, on November 23rd 2004 a game called World of Warcraft was released by a renowned already Blizzard Entertainment . Today it is the number 1 online multiplayer game in the world... but I guess you already know that.

I wanted to point you into this very nice and not too long article at WoW.com. Its title says all - "The early days of the World of Warcraft". I think it really shows the atmosphere of those days, the anticipation, big surprises and excitement. A quick step backwards to that historical moment, when the whole genre or even entire gaming market was changed forever.

Of course, if you don't like the article, you can always watch another ridiculous Mr. T commercial. Yes, they released another one! The Mohawks are taking over, watch out!

Celebrate the World of Warcrft 5-year anniversary, brothers and sisters, Horde and Alliance! Let's hope next 5 years will be even more successful for Blizzard and even more satisfying for...

Pilgrim's Bounty starts tomorrow
Tomorrow, November 22 a brand new event will start in the World of Warcraft. It's called Pilgrim's Bounty, and from the preview we can assume it's going to be about feasting, cooking and turkeys.

The core elements of this event are the Bountiful Tables. They will be standing in front of every capital and in many smaller villages. Official preview of the event says that the tables will be 'interactive'. Each chair standing by the table will be named differently and allow unlimited access to certain type of food. Apparently, to get other type of food we will have to ask players to pass it to us. We don't really know how it's going to look like, but the concept sounds pretty silly and fun.

Surprisingly (not!) there will also be a bunch of special daily cooking quests, which will require to "travel between the major cities of Azeroth and to fill the stomachs of armies with seasonal food". We will be able to get plenty of seasonal items of course. There are also 10 achievements to complete and...
