Ryan Hart fighting across Europe #3
LowLandLions legend, Ryan "Prodigal Son" Hart, talks about the release of Super Street Fighter IV on Arcade release in his latest Fighting Across Europe Blog and basically shares his view on the response by the fighting community in Europe on that decision by Capcom. After having recently set a new Guinness World Record, Ryan Hart has been fairly busy and recently, the announcement came that the new Street Fighter IV game will be released on Arcade as well by Capcom and in his latest Blog, Ryan feels the response by the European scene has been rather disappointing. LowLandLions releases Counter-Strike 1.6
LowLandLions has seen its fair share of difficult times when it comes to Counter-Strike 1.6 and each time we have tried to form the best possible teams in the Benelux scene, hoping they would dominate the scene regionally and have a shot at becoming bigger in the rest of Europe as well. This unfortunately has not happened and we feel right now that we need a break from Counter-Strike 1.6 as a competitive part of LowLandLions. We feel we have given the team and the many changes within the team enough opportunities and for now we will not be focusing on supporting them further. We are not sure whether or not the team itself will be continuing as a unit, but we definitely wish all of the players the very best of luck in the future and we are confident they will find a strong home, either in a new organisation or in a new team. GosuCupSC2 Invitational #1
StarCraft II is still enjoying quite a bit of attention and the Beta is being followed closely by a lot of people as well as Blizzard doing many updates to further increase the gameplay and GosuGamers, being one of the biggest RTS community websites, has organised a first GosuCupSC2 and LowLandLions is invited. Tomorrow, on April Sunday at 19:00 CET, the first ever GosCupSC2 Invitational is about to start and LowLandLions will be sending in two players to participate. Both Jos "ret" de Kroon and Olivier "Orly" Bellemans were invited and will be joining some of the biggest names in current StarCraft II for a chance at winning some money and establishing their reputation as opponents to be reckoned with.
