Chris Kirmse, General Manager

Chris invented Xfire in 2003 and has been passionately involved in its development ever since. Xfire has since grown into a huge, diverse, and passionate community of gamers. Chris was previously a Senior Engineer of Yahoo Games where he built the Yahoo FIFA system handling 400,000 simultaneous users. Prior to Yahoo, Chris created Meridian 59, the first 3D MMORPG game in the world, and MAME32 (now MameUI), the first Windows port of the arcade machine emulator.
