DFO...good the bad and the ugly
2009-11-07 6:29 PM PST
DFO, more commonly known as Dungeon Fighter Online, in general is a very fun, very social easy grinding MMO. I've been playing it for around 17 hours (so xfire tells me) and I still haven't gotten old of it like I have with most of the f2p games that the wonderful wealth of the internet has to provide. I like the fact that you can join into parties, destroy monsters in dungeons together but the one thing that ticks me off: is that nexon, for some absentmindedly reason, decided to base the connectivity of players to each other through a peer-peer connection type, instead of a server that all players connect to. This, for some reason HAD to be the way Nexon wanted to make thier game, DFO just like any other game on the net. It's really fun to play except for the online aspect. No matter how good your connection is, playing on a peer-peer connection as opposed to that of a server, you seem to lag indefenitely, and this causes much frustration while attemtping to have fun with your online friends.
